I am a Cape Town-based contemporary artist, inspired by the natural world that exists in contrast to a busy, man-made world.
This world initiates conversations between tranquillity and turmoil, the organic and the geometric. Through introspection and observation of this ever-evolving state, you will find evidence of nature, as well as the architectural and industrial aspects of our existence, that invites your personal connection and reflection.
I hold a BA in Fine Arts, majoring in traditional Graphic Art, including disciplines such as fine art etching, lithography, monoprinting, and serigraphy. I work intuitively, letting the brush respond to what I see and feel.

Memory and emotion are expressed through layers of colour, shapes, and texture. Sometimes, I incorporate natural materials, such as sand or pigment-rich earth, to bring the outdoors into the canvas itself.
